BREAKFAST OF TYCOONS BREAKFAST OF TYCOONS
BREAKFAST OF TYCOONS is the first Carl Barks serigraph produced by the Carl Barks Studio, and were released and sold at the 1996 Disneyana Convention at Walt Disney World only.

It was produced from the original watercolor painting which Carl Barks completed in December, 1995. It was made in one edition of 295 copies + 15 Artist Proofs. Original issue price was 295$.

There are differences in the background from the preliminary to the finished version as you can see on the picture below;

The main difference is two plates with the inscription 'YUKON 98' which were replaced with a shovel/pick and a bowl full of jewels. This was proberly done to show the huge wealth and history of Scrooge !

The image size is 14" x 18" (approx. 35,56 x 45,72 cm).

I WONDER WHAT MY FORTUNE COOKIE SAYS is the second Carl Barks serigraph produced by the Carl Barks Studio, and were released and sold at the 1997 Disneyana Convention at Walt Disney World only.

It was produced from the original oil painting which Carl Barks completed in January, 1996. It was made in one edition of 295 copies + 15 Artist Proofs. Original issue price was 295$.

This is the only painting featuring Magica DeSpell which were produced as a serigraph. Its also the ONLY painting released as a lithograph or serigraph where Magica DeSpell is having a "lead-role". There is 4 other lithographs featuring Magica DeSpell in the background; "Holiday In Duckburg", "Mardi Gras Before The Thaw", "July Fourth In Duckburg" and finally the small "Wanderes Of Wonderlands".

The image size is 16" x 20" (approx. 40,64 x 50,80 cm).

HEAT WAVE is the third Carl Barks serigraph produced by the Carl Barks Studio, and were released and sold at the 1998 Disneyana Convention at Walt Disney World only.

It was produced from the original oil painting which Carl Barks completed in May, 1996 but began work on it already in the 1970's. It was made in one edition of 195 copies + (15 Artist Proofs). Original issue price was 295$.

The painting is based on the cover of the Walt Disney Comics #95 (august 1948)

I MAY HAVE TO SPEND SOME OF THIS STUFF, with the sub-title "50 Stingy Years Worth" is the last Carl Barks serigraph produced by the Carl Barks Studio, exclusively for Walt Disney Attractions.

It was produced from the original color-pencil drawing which Carl Barks completed in 1996/1997 (?). It was made in one edition of 500 copies + (8 Artist Proofs).

In the 1960s Uncle Scrooge McDuck's money bin was at the 98 foot level on the depth gauge. He had three cubic acres of money. Now its at 120 feet. After 50 Stingy years, with his money bin full... Uncle Scrooge may have to change his thrifty ways.
